sorry for this late comment(haven't been here for a while),i don't know if somebody already answered your question, but i'll try to answer anyway.IIRC, right click in your time slider-->configure-->check everything there(selection range etc)

I found it out. But yours is not the right solution. It is in "show UI" and then "track bar". Thanks for the help though.
