i just can't seem to think of names for my OCs. she loves flowers, plants, gardening and jazz music and is quite old-fashioned and placid in general.quick 30 minute sketch.

Pagepony the Beatnik
Pagepony (like pageboy, which is also the type of hat she is wearing) Beatnik is a word to describe the people in the 1960s who listened to smooth jazz and had a cool and collective nature about them.
Also, you can play around with the words and give her some tiny round sunglasses, beatniks used to wear them <3 just a suggestion though, I LOVE her character how she is :3

I like your drawing style, it has a very fun feel to it. To me she kind of looks like she's going "Humf" or you the viewer just interrupted her thinking.
And I hope you don't mind, well I was looking at this drawing a couple of names popped into my head.
Jazz Rose - cool name but I know it doesn't fit her.
Tranquil Garden - It's nice, don't really know how well it fits but its there.
Placid Blues - Blues as in the music term. Don't know how redundant Placid Blues might be but it sound kind of nice in my head. Though it could also be her coloring.
Even if you don't like any of these it might give you that spark you need for one to form in your own mind.

Your welcome, I'm glad you like the names. Well when it comes to OCs for me I either come up with the name first or the pony design then work from there. Some days a name with just pop in there and I go "Cool, now what would go with that?" so I guess naming OCs is kind of just a normal thing for me.
