Everything looks absolutely beautiful - the colors, the lighting, the snow, the sky, the mountains and the clouds. I feel like I can put myself in that man't shoes. When I look at this I feel like looking back on life and looking forward too, and it's just so inspiring. The man though so small doesn't go unnoticed. This is a masterpiece, great job!

Perhaps the most underappreciated photo I have seen on DA. I think this is a beautiful piece - the sense of loneliness that you have created with the tones, contrast, and composition is very powerful. The detail is nice and sharp and I like the layered effect created by the mist in the distance.

No, it's all digital... The grain is added in PS, I use a scan of high iso B&W film for that purpose
