Description
Unfortunately this was a rather dissapointing quick trip out to the Mt. Index area in the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, but I liked how this pano turned out in Sepia. There is a great opportunity for fall color here, however, everthing was still green. Maybe this weekend...-------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, I took this shot from atop a huge boulder where I was being used as target practice by the local woodsman. The body in question was located behind me, down a gaited gravel road.

Well, I have not been in this area for fall before (as I've only been in WA for a little over a year), but there are a lot of aspens and maples in the valley, lining the river and o some of the small hills before the peaks.

I love the colors the maples turn. They're so vivid!
