Human traffiking is well-known term across post soviet states. Using difficult economic situation and unperfection of system of human rights protection, certain people organizing business by inviting others to work abroad, where last are experiencing severe exploitation, getting misery salary for themselves and bringing big bucks to organizers. Priority trafficking countries for Ukrainian people are Russia, Turkey, Hungary, Romania, Croatia, Germany, UAE, Syria, China, Netherlands, Canada, Japan. Very popular Mediterranean countries – Greece, Cyprus, Israel, Italy, Spain. Men are also subject for sale in Portugal, Czech Republic and Balkan countries, where they usually are invited as a builders and workers and where they are often held in conditions that are very close to slavery.

Any person regardless of age and sex could become subject of human trafficking. Men – to be exploited, children to be used as beggars, women to be sex slaves or maids, and all people for organ transplantation. Most cases our citizens are going abroad to work. They usually promised good salary and working conditions, but when then arrive they face cruel reality, most of them can’t work legally and don’t have money to return home, in some cases their documents are stolen by their new masters. Last years a lot of work is going in our country to prevent human trafficking and to help victims trapped in such conditions.
