Very terrible depiction of smoking. A young man. A true depiction would be a picture of lung cancer. Or even a diseased homeless man smoking. But this glamorization of smoking is disgusting. So sick of seeing misleading ads of young 'healthy' people smoking. That is NOT the case. Smoking will give you a wide range of health problems, before it ultimately kills you. Shame on all advertisers that make smoking look 'attractive'. Very disturbing. Smoking is so unattractive! Most people avoid smokers like the plague it's so disgusting. This picture would have looked much better without the cigarette. All I see is a young man poisoning himself to death here. So sad....

Actually I agree with you, as I don't smoke myself. Also you would be happy to know that my friend (on the picture) quit smoking, and now he doesn't smoke as well. Same time smoking is a choice and people nowadays are fully aware of consequenes. So give me a break with your moral. Good lucck.

No smoking is not a choice. If you ask any person why they started, they will tell you they were tricked into doing it. It's like saying drinking bleach is a choice. No, it's not. It's really a mental disorder, it's called self-harm. Smoking needs to be classified as that so these sick people can get the help they deserve.
Most smoke since they were pressured into it, or saw it was 'cool'. Both irrational reasons. Most start YOUNG, under 18. At that age you CANNOT possibly be "fully aware of consequenes" btw it's spelledΒ consequences. Β That 2nd hand smoke has alreadyΒ damagedΒ you. Kids have NO idea about anything really. They are not in a right state of mind. So they CAN'T be FULLY AWARE! And when a friend hands you a cigarette there is no warning printed on it. Also some people are NOT warned. You can't just make blanket assumptions like that. If someone told you that this is aΒ poisonΒ stick that will cause you pain and misery, would you smoke it!? NO! Of course not. The reason people do it is because they are FOOLED into it. Duh.
