Yet another oldy but a goldy. And I dea I had for the characters of Matt Groenings two big TV shows meeting up. To do this I decided that the heads of The Simpsons would have to be preserved in jars and put in the head museum where the Futurama characters could meet them. 've never been happy with Homers head in this drawing. The top of it is too narrow. I should have angled the back out more but other than that I've always thought this pic turned out pretty good.Related content

Actually, The Simpsons have appeared in Futurama...as comics in their universe that is.

Thanks man, I was an expert at drawing The Simpsons though I think this was possibly the only time I've ever bothered drawing the Futurama cast. Mybe I did on another occasion but I'm not sure, I think I drew Bender a couple of other times. I wasn't happy that Homers head turned out like that at the time though after it took me so long to do the pencils and everything then I messed it up on the inks. There was no way I was going back and redoing it all just for that and Iwouldn't have known where to start sorting it digitaly back then without it looking stupid. The colours worked out well though. I was definately using PS for the colours on this one.
