For me the boat seems to be slightly down by the nose,
I think there is an invisible person in the bow, maybe it even holds the paddle.
And no, the boat will not go down the rapids, it will turn to the left (east),
and there the long journey into doom starts.
But with Wolfie Gamgee it will not fail.
Beautifully done !

I think that's the fault of the perspective because
I didn't tilt the boat (I used a very large frame width so it distord a bit the picture).
It's Wolfie's paw on the paddle but it can't be seen.
And wolfie is in the middle of the boat by the way
But I like the idea of an invisible character.

Personally, I prefer your recent renders. There is no noise in this one. The DOF is almost unnoticeable. The grain of the wood on the boat slowly blurs by the time it gets to the bow but Wolfies fur looks perfect! The water is super clear and believable. A really awesome render! You really have this figured out! Β
