Remember Twilight has snapped before in season 1...just not as bad as this, since it is the first time she has ever been late with a project, or anything for that matter...
She has severe case of OCD or very and extremely organized.

I have to say, Twilight was out of character in that episode. Even at the beginning. She was never that obsessive over organization.

For me Pinkamena was more of a "Just want to wrap her in my arms and tell her it'll be ok" kinda crazy. Twilight's crazy was "Don't make eye contact and just back away. Slowly. We don't want to startle her" kind of crazy.
