Description
This time I gave AJ real freckles instead of the 3 white/yellowish dots? You can tell I do enjoy drawing both of them as humans.
You can make up your own story on what happened.
Note: I never realize Big Mac has freckles. I been drawing him without freckles the whole time. LOL!

To Stone
“I wept not, so to stone within I grew.”― Dante Alighieri
Her tears are bleeding through the back of his shirt.
Ah’m s-sorry... beg your pardon, she’s muttering ceaselessly. One of her arms has left encircling his neck so she can clutch distraughtly at his shirt’s collar, her elbow pinned between her breast and his back. The position is awkward, and her grasping is making the collar brush his neck irritatingly.
Mac endures it, doubling over and hefting his sister further up onto his back without breaking stride. Applejack falls quiet, and for a moment the only sounds are those of his feet swishing through the tall grass, and the shrill chirping of crickets. He listens worriedly for her breathing.
The silence is broken by a sudden outbreak of choking sobs, followed by a desperate inhale and another rush of incoherent apologies.
Something within him jolts, a reflex response to her misery. He has to speak if only to drown out the volume of Applejack’s shame.
Ah used to lug you around like this all the time, remember? He says finally, and his voice carries such gentleness it’s as if the words were woven from a song.
At the sound of his voice Applejack flinches. The hand kneading his collar stills. He feels her body harden, legs tightening around his waist. Hears her apologies run dry and her mouth clap shut.
He’s botched it; his deliberate disregarding of her tears has only magnified her humiliation.
The stars are pulsing pinpricks of light in a spilled-ink sky. Their remoteness hurts him, frightens him.
Everything seems painful and frightening when Applejack breaks.
She’s slipped past his bottom; he hoists her back up to above his waist.
It’s okay to be tired, he blurts out. It’s okay to stop. Don’t cry no more. Most brothers don’t know what to say to their crying sisters. Gentle Big Mac, floundering in a situation in which he rarely finds himself, is no different.
A few hitching breaths, a hiccup, and then: Tomorrow’s a s-school day, spoken wretchedly, haltingly.
Tomorrow’s a school day and the work is not finished; tomorrow’s a school day to be met and faced and conquered; tomorrow’s a school day and shattered masks have to be refashioned…
The farmhouse materializes in the distance, warm yellow light beaming through the windows. Applejack is crying in earnest now, with exhausted abandon. Tears hitting the back of his neck.
Mac stops walking and, with clumsy grace, tells his sister he loves her. Applejack clings to him so hard it hurts.
He swallows.
He stiffens his shoulders.
Mac heaves Applejack further up onto his back, and carries her home.

Aj hung onto her brothers big strong back. She was crying, tears flooded her face, a fact she was ashamed of. If she had seem herself she would blush like hell but right now she had bigger problems. Big mac on the other hand felt relieved that they were heading home, he had asked her to come home for an hour and she had only come once she was finished her fun.
"It's ok little one....ya safe now...." He said solfty as he chewed his piece of barley.
"Ah.....ah c-can't.....ah can't have done that! I-its not true.....a-ah am d-dreaming.... I'm a h-horrible person...." She said as she sobbed. Big mac sighed. He felt bad for her, she didn't deserve this, she was the most honest person he knew.
"It an't ya fault....ah should have tryed to stop you.....and ah guess what should have tryed to get ah home instead of watching it play out in front of me...ah am sorry AJ" the big man said as he placed her down on the bridge. He kneeled down in front of her. "Ah know your embarrassed about it ah I know you are embarrassed about crying in front of me but ah an't gonna laugh....and ah an't gonna disrespect you...." He said as he used his big cream coloured hand to wipe the tears from her face. He saw her face without tears for a few seconds. He saw the blush she wore was growing.
"A-ah an't n-needs your simplify!" She screamed like a raging kid and looked away. Big mac knew what to do, this had happened time and time before, she would not want to admit she was upset and he had got a plan, it worked every time.
"Ah guess ah will go home then" he said calmly and got up and started to walk away.
"N-no! Big mac, I'm sorrrryyyyyy!" She called as she lost her balance and fell back. She legs were the only thing keeping her from falling off that bridge. Her blue skirt fell down to her belly and exposed her pink panties and her creamy belly button. Her tan lines that exposed the fact she mostly covered all the time all on show. She frantically started trying to hide her exposed body. She had faced to much exposure that night. She felt something on her leg. It was Big mac. He had grabbed her leg.
"Stop kicking, ya modesty is already gone tonight and if ya don't stop kicking I'll drop you" he said strictly in a tone he had never heard from him. She slowly stopped kicking and just let the fact her pink panties were exposed sink in. She had got drunk on her own cyder at the local pub as a dare from pinkie pie and had ended up streaking the town naked for 3 hours. The pub guys had enjoyed it but the hump in there pants and she had only got into her clothes after she had sobered and bug Mac had forcefully dressed her like a doll, oh course he know nothing of bras or panties so....her heart sank...he didn't know about panties or how to put them on....so that meant.....
"Pull me up! Ya'll better not be enjoying the view! You sick pervert!" She screamed.
"Ah an't looking, I am just waiting for ya to calm" he answered. She could tell he was being truthful. "W-well I'm calm, pull me up! I'm more exposed than I thought!" He called. She was pulled up and she held her skirt down, flat to her legs, not chancing the fact the wind could change at any second.
"So...ya ok? Ah didn't mean for you to fall back, and I didn't mean to expose ya womanhood again tonight" said big Mac as he put a hand round her neck and leaned against her side.
" Ah know.....c-can we just fore about it and so home.... please?" She asked. Big mac chuckled.
"Sure, blonde bush" he answered.
"You said you weren't looking!" She shouted.
"Well y'all didn't give me much time to look away" he said innocently.
"Once I tell granny smith ya be-" she started then her face fell. She knew she would have to explain her commando chose of underwear.
"Ah was joking about it ya know that right?" Laughed big Mac. Apple jack blushed.
"Don't do that!" She said as she gave him a playful punch to the side as they walked home in hopes of lying low for the next week. With help of the local news paper and a badly timed picture of her naked streak they had no such luck.

(Since others are doing this I might as well)
AJ held tightly on to her brother as he carried her home. what once was a strong independent woman was a heartbroken sobing mess, Big Mac couldn't blame her for they had just lost a sister. Sweet innocent applebloom was now gone lost forever they were at the swimming hole when things took a turn for the worst.
"I can't believe that she's gone" AJ said, trying to hold back tears but failed "one minute she's celebrating on finally yearning her cutie mark.....and the next........" "She's in a better place now apple jack, she can finally meet ma and pa" big Mac said, trying to make the tragic incident less painful
"W-what will we tell sweetybell and scootaloo? The cutie mark crusaders are now down to two" AJ was now balling at the thought that she'll have to tell them that applebloom is now gone. "I don't know apple jack.....I don't know"
Before they knew it they were back a sweet apple acres with a worried granny smith waiting at the enterence. "There yer two are where in the hay is applebloom" granny smith asked, looking around for the youngest apple who was not present. Both apple jack and big Mac explained what happened to applebloom.....
(Time skip)
Both scootaloo and sweetybell were clutching rarity and rainbow dash, crying as applebloom's casket was slowly being placed in the emtey grave. Dimond Tera was sobbing and pinkie's main was deflated and her eyes were full of salty tears Apple jack looked up at the gray sky as she gave her final goodbye to her beloved sister.

STORY TIME! GRAB YOUR TISSUES BECAUSE IT'S DEPRESSING! *Evil laughter* READ AND CRY! *Laugher intensities*
"Apple Bloom? Where in tarnation is that girl? AJ? Macintosh? Someone answer me dang it!" Granny whipped off her apron with a frustrated sigh. She looked back at the table. Carrots, cucumbers, beef and cheese casserole. All of it wasted! Again! She pulled out the chair forcibly and sat down with a huff. For an old gal Granny Smith was many things but docile when upset was not one of them. Her frustration however began to leave her. In it's place came a familiar feeling that, like clockwork, struck only on this day every year. Her fists clenched as memories flooded back to her. Twelve years. Twelve years should be enough right? Why was it never enough. She ran her arms across the dinner table with a shout, throwing the food and plates to ground shattering them. Finally after what seemed like an eternity fighting. The Apple Matriarch succumbed to the war she was fighting internally. A single tear fell on to her plate... just as it did twelve years ago. Followed by what can only be described as pain in it's truest form. Or in other words. A grieving mother's scream.
Apple Bloom had heard Granny Call her and her siblings. But she knew Granny only cooked that meal on one day. It was her grief mechanism, or something like that. Big Mac had told her so during one of them. Since then she had left her granny alone to deal with the pain in her own way. Out of all of her family Apple Bloom was perhaps the less affected by the day. She was only one when it happened... And while she knew her mother's and Father's face, she had no memories of them. In a way, she guessed, It was better not to have known them. Lord knows how she would handle the situation if Granny passed suddenly. She shivered at the thought. Even though she had no episodes like her family, She was still affected. She was without mother or father. Sure, Big Mac took care of her like a dad. But It- It just wasn't the same. A girl has to have a father. Apple Bloom sniffed. "It's not fair!" She exclaimed, slamming her small fist into the trunk of the tree she stood next to. She pulled it back and clutched the bleeding hand. The tears that threatened to fall broke away in a torrent of loneliness and despair. She fell back against the tree and curled up her knees to hide her face away from the world. She would stay like that until the next morning when the sun shone over the mountains.
Big Macintosh ran through the same routine everyday and every night. Some who know of him call him a rock. He was a simple farmer, born of the Earth and would someday be buried beneath her. He was known by many as the Man of Few Words, the craftsman, The Gentle Giant, or to a select few The father. Now he wasn't called that because he was religious, Heaven knows what would happen if a Baptist called himself the father. Instead he was called The Father, due to the sad heartbreaking story that happened twelve years ago. Many of the older citizens remember clearly that day he earned that title. Though most will shy away if asked a question about the Apple Family. Macintosh rarely sown emotion. The few times he did are always caused by something involving his family. But unlike his normal rare emotional bursts the town was used to, every year on the same day he had a different routine. One that anyone close to him knew what it meant. Macintosh avoided the town, instead he ventured into the Everfree forest with an axe and rope. Hours later he would return dragging a trunk of a tree that had cut down. He Grunted as the weight forced him to dig his feet into the ground only to move it by a few inches. His usually unreadable expression was masked with pain and anger. Letting out a shout he pulled the tree with enough force for him to continue to go. He angled his body to the outskirts of Sweet Apple Acres. As he neared the wood cutting station set up for dead apple trees he pushed himself further to get the log closer. He looked down at the past imprints of logs that sheared in its fate. Each one was closer then the next. With a sigh he dropped the rope grabbed the axe still lodged inside the trunk and yanked it out. He looked to the sky and watched as the dark clouds swirled around the horizon. With a shout only heard by himself he began the long task of chopping the wood. It would be past midnight when he would be finished. But he felt he needed to do this. It was what his father last had told him to do.
Unlike her Brother and sister and granny, Applejack was stubborn. She would put on a fake face and refuse to acknowledge it. if she was pushed she would throw punches... Not the fugitive ones either. She however would head to the archard to kick trees. Not to get the Apples down. but to get rid of her anger, her frustration. Her pain. Applejack grunted as she kicked the tree again. She took a deep breath, It was well past midnight and the only light was her lantern she brought with her. It would be easier if the task wasn't so tasking on her body. Still, she lifted her leg and gave the tree another kick, Harvesting the Apples needed to get done. And If Big Mac was going to hide the ladder and buckets she would do it the hard way. Instead of a solid thump of a tree trunk however her foot missed and she twisted down in a heap next to it. She let out an involuntary sniff only to grab a handful of grass in anger. "Ah' ain't gonna cry. No! Yer' fine AJ. yer, not upset!" Her hat had fallen off her head sometime during her kicking session only the string keeping it from blowing away in the chilling winds. She pushed herself up and tried to kick the tree again. Her steel toed boot left a noticeable indentation. Sweat pooled at her brow and stung her eyes forcing her to close them as she tried again. She missed again. This time however when she lost her balance she fell into something firm. Shocked she opened her eyes to stare into the same emerald ones of her older brother. She tried to shove him off but he held onto her in a vice grip. "let me Go Mac!" she yelled at him. He however didn't and instead took a seat forcing her to sit with him. She used her free hand and started to hit him on his shoulder. "Let Me Go!" She choked out. Her assault on her brother slowed, as each strike started to waver in strength. Her breathing also became erratic as her mind overloaded with emotion. Applejack, locked in an embrace with her brother, her assaults to get free losing whatever strength they had to begin with. Now began to feel her defences falter. Distant repressed memories began to surface. Memories of a terrified little girl, a black dress, and cold stone, after being forgotten, assaulted her without remorse. Finally with a defeated sigh she let out a pain induced choke and let her head fall on her brother's chest. When Applejack heard Macintosh hum the tune that her mother sang when she was little, she finally broke. With a pained cry she began to sob into Macintosh's chest. They stayed like that until the early morning hours. Her crying onto him, He wrapping his arms protectively around her. Then after a few moments of shuddering breaths he made her climb onto his back he then carried her back to the house. Sometimes she would continue shed silent tears as he carried her. Finally after what seemed like an eternity Applejack fell into a deep slumber as Macintosh tucked her in.
Macintosh was a man run by routine. Applejack always needed someone to break her. It wasn't healthy to keep it locked away. And the only person she trusted with her key was him. Every year he did the same thing. After finishing with his chore, he would help AJ, who's own stubborn attitude to do work would usually sprain, twist or in the worst case scenario fracture her ankle due to the pressure she inflicts upon it. After her he would spend some time to clean the dining area. Throwing broken dishes into the trash, cleaning up broken glass from the floor and tossing the same uneaten meal for the 12th time into the compost bin. Then he would search for Apple Bloom. She was the hardest to care for. Sometimes he would find her in the barn with the photo album over her face other times under a random tree. When he found her this time, the sun was starting to break over the distant mountains. He gently picked her up and carried her off to her own bed for her continued sleep. When everything was said and done he would sit in his father's chair and let the day's work take him to sleep.
The end.
What did you think? *Grins evilly*

SHORT STORY TIME! I hope you don't mind.
"All right, Apple Jack. Come on now. You just need to stand up for a mo' and Ah'll carry you home."
"It hurts, Mac..." A.J. moaned. Fresh tears began to run down her face.
"Ah know. But if you just stand up Ah'll get ya on my back. Here," he said, holding a hand out to his sister.
Apple Jack rolled her eyes. Even with a fractured kneecap she was determined not to accept help. "Ah can manage," she said flatly.
"All right," Big Mac said skeptically.
With a great effort, Apple Jack rose. However, the second she put pressure on her injured leg, she went deathly pale. She fell forward, and Big Mac caught her.
"Easy," he said gently.
Carefully, Big Mac turned his back to his sister. For a moment Apple Jack hesitated. Then she wrapped her arms around her brother's neck and, with some difficulty, heaved herself up into the piggy-back position. Her brother's muscular arms came under her legs, supporting her from beneath. Even so, the pressure of their bodies pressed together, the vibration of every step, sent jolts of pain through A.J.'s leg that made her catch her breath and made tears slide down her cheeks. She knew her brother was being as gentle as possible, and it annoyed her she was crying so much. But it hurt...so...bad...Big Mac felt his sister's body quake with pain. As he walked, a pang of guilt made his heart twist. Memories of a frightening experience replayed over and over in his brain with each step:
He and his sister were walking in the part of the orchard where dead trees were abundant. Although these trees no longer bore fruit, they were still useful for fires. On this particular day, they had gone to chop some. However, at the time they had been arguing. Their conversation was so intense they'd neglected to notice an ancient tree about to topple over right on them. With a hideous tearing creak, the old roots had finally given way. A.J. realized what was going to happen a split second before it did. As if in slow motion, Big Mac again saw his sister lunge forward, shoving him clear of the falling trunk. Apple Jack hadn't been so lucky. She wasn't able to scramble out of the way in time. As a result, her left knee was broken, having been squashed beneath the crushing force of the old trunk.
After making sure his sister was still alive, Big Mac had flung the tree trunk aside with a violent heave. He tore off a portion of his undershirt, using it to make a temporary bandage. It would have to do until Granny Smith could take care of A.J. herself. Then he had waited until A.J. had woken an hour later. He would have run to the farm house to tell Granny to call for help, but Big Mac was afraid of leaving his younger sister alone. Besides, the farmhouse was a long ways off, and he couldn't well leave her when it was his fault to begin with.
As Big Mac remembered all this, he felt his rare tears forming in his eyes. He blinked. Don't cry, he ordered himself. Don't you dare cry. She'll be fine...she'll...be...fine...Yet it was all in vain. A tear squeezed itself from the corner of Big Mac's eye and fell to the ground. It's my fault, he thought. This wouldn't've happened if I hadn't been so stupid and blind...why couldn't it've been ME instead?
Finally, after hours of walking, he spotted the farmhouse in the distance, clearly illuminated by the full moon and stars. Apple Jack had finally gone quiet. She must be so tired, Big Mac thought. As they drew nearer to the house, Big Mac could see the living room light was still on. The short form of an elderly woman could be glimpsed in the windows, pacing. Once again Big Mac felt a stab of guilt. Granny must be so worried, he thought. He sighed. He hoped Granny would spare her scolding for when A.J. was stronger. As he pushed open the front gate, the porch light suddenly came on. Next instant the door was thrown open and their grandmother came sprinting onto the front lawn, hiking up the skirts of her pink nightgown, her other hand holding her nightcap. Relief was tangible in every wrinkle on her face.
"Thank Celestia you're both all right!" she exclaimed.
"Granny...." Big Mac started to apologize. Granny Smith cut him off with a dismissive wave.
"We'll talk later, young'un. Let's get your sister inside and treat that busted knee. Poor angel..."
With that Granny Smith ran back into the house. On his back, Big Macintosh felt Apple Jack stir.
"We're home," he informed her quietly.
A.J. was silent for a moment. "Err...Big Mac?" she said uncertainly.
"Yes?"
Apple Jack swallowed. "Ah'm sorry...for the things Ah said in the orchard...Ah know you were just tryin' to watch out for me and Ah...Ah..."
"Apple Jack..." Big Mac said softly. "It's okay...Ah said some stupid things too. Things Ah didn't mean." He paused. "Thank you for today, Apple Jack. You saved my life."
Apple Jack said nothing. Though Big Macintosh was sure she was blushing. For several minutes all that could be heard was the sound of crickets chirping. Finally A.J. spoke again. When she did, she sounded like a small filly.
"Of course Ah did," A.J. said softly. "You're my brother, an' Ah love ya, Mac."
Big Macintosh grinned to himself. "Ah love you too, sis," he said quietly. "Now let's get you inside to bed."
"'Kay," A.J. replied, nestling her head against her brother's back.
Without another word, Big Macintosh carries her into the house.
THE END

"Ah was too late Big mac.."
FLASHBACK
Apple Bloom screamed in terror as the wagon careered down the canyonside, crashing into rocks and bumps as it went. Bramley Apple, a handsome, hardworking man if there ever was one, was closely following the runaway vehicle with his wife, Red Pippin.
"Hold on, girlie, we're coming!" yelled Red Pippin, readying her lasso. As both wagons reached 'The Death ramp' (land sloping upwards before the big drop) Bramley Apple steadied the wagon they were on and Red Pippin took aim. The lasso shot through the air, and roped Apple Bloom round the waist. Suddenly, the runaway wagon disappeared into the drop. Apple Bloom landed SMACK into the chasing wagon. Both parents embraced their daughter, and Red Pippin threw the end of the lasso onto a convenient branch. It was then that the breathless Apple Jack arrived, and the last she saw of her parents was them holding one another's hands as their wagon plunged into the canyon. Apple Jack began to scream, tears flooding from her eyes. What had her hardworking, gentle parents done to deserve this? How were the rest of her close family going to manage? By then, Big MacIntosh had come to search for his sisters and their parents. hearing the wails, he increased his speed. Big Mac didn't need to ask what had happened; all he did was slide down the canyon walls to Apple Bloom, sling her gently over his shoulder, climb back up and embrace his sisters.
Granny Smith was informed, and, after a lot of weeping, the rest of the apple family arrived to pay their respects at the memorials. Since it was too dangerous to venture into the canyon, the bodies of the lost were never recovered. Apple Jack embraced her Granny, her sister and her brother; they were all she had left.

Apple Bloom heard the school bell ring. She smiled and ran out with Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle. "Heya girls, ya' wanna come to ma place nayow?" She asked the two. "Sure! It'll be so much fun!" "Yeah! Sounds aweSOME!" Scootaloo shouted and did an air punch. "We can make daisy chains!" Sweetie Belle announced. "Yeah! Cutiemark Crusaders Daisy Chain-" Apple Bloom slowed down and stopped talking when she saw Apple Jack being shoved on the ground being yelled at by Rainbow Dash. "YOU LIED TO ME! YOU SAID YOU'D NEVER COME BETWEEN ME AND SOARIN!" Rainbow Dash screamed. "Rainbow Dash! Stop! Please!" Apple Bloom pleaded. Rainbow Dash shot her a vicious glare. "Get out of here, midget." Rainbow Dash snapped and shoved her away. "Oh don't ya lay a FINGER on ma little sis!" Apple Jack bursted from the ground and pushed Rainbow to the wall with her fore-arm at Rainbow Dash's throat, making her gasp for any air she could. "AJ! PLEA-*Cough* PLEASE, *Gasp* YOU SAID YOU'D NEVER HURT YOUR FRIENDS!" Rainbow Dash spitted out before coughing. Apple Jack frowned and pushed harder against her throat. "I was just doin' what's best fer ya!" Apple Jack shouted. "Friends? Heh, Friends mah ass!"Apple Jack laughed and pushed harder and slammed her fist into Rainbow's side. The cutiemark crusaders were to in shock to move. "APPLE JACK STOP!" A familiar voice came from around the corner, Twilight. Twilight tried to pull Apple Jack away but AJ kicked back and hit her in the stomach and threw another punch to Rainbow Dash's face. Rarity arrived and immediately turned around to get Big Mac. Once they both arrived Big Mac easily pulled her away and carried her like a sack o' potatoes as she kicked and cussed at him to let her go. She looked up at the wounded and coughing Rainbow Dash who was staring at her with pain, sad, inraged eyes. once Apple Jack realized how badly she had hurt Rainbow, she teared up and she stopped fighting. She swung her arms up to cover her face. Big Mac got the message and re-arranged her so she was receiving a piggy back.
