Description
This time I gave AJ real freckles instead of the 3 white/yellowish dots?You can tell I do enjoy drawing both of them as humans.
You can make up your own story on what happened.
Note: I never realize Big Mac has freckles. I been drawing him without freckles the whole time. LOL!

Well probably the whole time they were living with Granny Smith, their parents had other things to do and wouldn't have been able to take care of AJ, Big Mac, and Apple Bloom properly. But then Granny Smith got a letter stating that their parents died in some accident. She told AJ and Big Mac, and they decided to not tell Apple Bloom 'til the next morning.

Maybe the great pony war started (Solar Empire and Lunar Republic), and maybe Big Mac got drafted for the military? If that could be what happen, it'd be a pretty epic story, if I say so myself...

I think she makes the best human pony because she's the only earth pony in the group (so nothing extra to add like wings or horns) and her hair is already a natural color

It was a few days after the Equestria Rodeo Competition while Big Mac was workin around Sweet Apple Acres. He was finishing up some last minute chores before the sun set. He was just finishing up rounding the chickens when he heard soft crying. His initial thought was 'Applebloom and her cutie mark I'm supposin'. But when he looked behind the chicken coop, to his surprise, it was AJ. He began to ponder what could possibly be nagging at her apple bush, then he saw the ribbons. He sighed, getting AJ's attention. She sniffled and wiped away her tears, "Oh. Uhm, evenin there Big Mac. Um...I was gettin to the chicken coop, I just got kinda..." she bit her lip to attempt to stop crying. Big Mac sat next to her and gently rubbed her back, "Not gettin any blue ribbons aint nothin to be ashamed of AJ." he said comfortingly, "But...I promised everypony I'd get them to help with the town hall...what with the repairs that were needed." she said, rubbing her tears away. Big Mac looked up as the sun disappeared behind the mountains. He got up slowly and picked up AJ and put her on his back and began the slow walk back to the farm, AJ still crying softly. He sighed, 'Oh AJ...'
