Description

Today (January 8th, 2017) marks two years since the permiere of Warp Tour which is memorable for many fans of Steven Universe as the episode where Peridot made her very first appearance. So to mark this occasion, here's a side by side comparison of the first and latest times that I've drawn Peridot with her limb enhancements (which I don't do very often as I normally draw her without them).

June 2015: Mostly on-model but drawn in a way in which it looks like she's 10 pounds bigger than she normally is, many of the construction lines are still visible, and the wrong kind of color code was used (I used the warp pad color coding instead of the casual one).

October 2016: Proper color code, the addition of visible glems in her eyes (which is common for my art despite not being common in the actual series), and a better cleanup overall in terms of removing the construction lines (though a few of them are obviously still visible).

* Peridot was the 2nd character that I originally drew from the show (the first being Lapis Lazuli). I began working on her first drawing in early March of 2015 (which would've been around the time the premiere for Marble Madness) but didn't get around to finishing it until June of that same year.
