Description
A somewhat older drawing of the Ruby Squad that I did not too long after Hit the Diamond aired early in France that I meant to upload after the episode aired in the US a few weeks later but forgot. After seeing their return in Back to the Moon and Eyeball's extensive focus in Bubbled I felt like now was as good as time as any to upload it.Prior to their nicknames given by Steven being revealed, I came up with my own set of nicknames for these Rubies which were:
Doc (center) - Alpha
Navy (top left) - Girly
Army (top right) - Tough
Eyeball (bottom left) - One-Eyed
Leggy (bottom right) - Newby

I would've also said Eyeball as well but Bubbled showed that she's a little too off her rocker for my liking.

She was SO CLOSE to being redeemed.
Hopefully this isn't the last we've seen of the Ruby squad, though. I mean, there's no way they were drifting fast enough to escape Earth's gravity (technically they shouldn't even have escaped the moon's gravity).

I guess they wanted to subvert things for once by showing that sadly there are indeed people out there who simply can't be saved and you're better off fighting back against them.
Yeah, I saw a website saying that it's unlikely they'll ever return but I don't believe that for a second.

It's sad, but true. Especially on the Pink Diamond front. I'm suddenly wondering if any of her shards are in the temple...
