awesome work here. I usually dont have that kind of time on my hands to use up a good 4hours animating, lol i guess i need a desk or something. anyway, this is awesome cant wait to see more. I was tired of stick fights so doing stuff like this really inspires me.

Thanks,

yeah, I have to make time for animation because it takes so long. It's tedious some times, but the payoff is sweet.

Fuckin awesome! 4 hrs though? DAAAAAMMMMNNN you might want to try some new approaches. lol I havent tried this out, but my method will be to get a small tripod for a digicam to rig it to take pictures of dry erase drawings on transparencies with a white background. once I transfer all of the pictures to my computer ill enhance, tween the necessary frames, and do a test play! I hope it works out for me... You think it might work?

Well, there's no fast approach to animation. 1 second in 4 hours is actually pretty fast. An hour of that went toward planning and staging. Good animation takes time, if you try and rush it and use too many shortcuts, it shows.

I would suggest animating on paper to start out so that you can flip your frames and see the motion without having to waste a lot of time doing pencil tests. I don't see the point of using transparencies if you're going to have white backgrounds anyway. Also use a lightbox if you have one so that you can "onion skin" your drawings while you do your inbetweens.
