Countless resurrections, clones and rituals later, the being formerly known as Darth Sidious and Palpatine is now a shell of his former self. Despite his title he now rules only a small portion of the Galaxy, with only the Knights of Ren and some minor sects loyal to him. The Emperor has been reduced to an energy being held together by devices and greeblies, spouting the same cliches and threats he made millennia ago.
