I wish I was more creative with words but I am not. Β I only know what I like and I like the way this shot turned out. Β It's just a beautiful capture of a moment in time.

The right feet cut is a bit disturbing. Overall, a very neat picture.

I went to an Exhibition recently at the Grand Palais in Paris, a retrospective of Helmut Newton's work. The images were filled with slopping walls, missing toes and ears, burned out areas and l the other things we amateurs go on about on these forums which remain of no interest in the real work of art.One haas every right to like or not like something, but a photo either has impact or it doesn't, I don't really think anything else matters. Many thanks for passing by. Β

Thank you for having spent time in reading my comment and replying to it!
I hope you don't mind if I reply again-
I really don't mind such "formal" details "per se". So my note was not a technical note,Β but more a small note from the point of view of a person who got impressed by the picture, but then had some kind of small "disturbance", somethingΒ feeling somehow wrong. Of course, this is absolutely personal and does not affect the overall impact which, as I said, is very neat. I like it and that's why I stopped and stared at the picture, eventually finding something which was not perfect (again, in my personal opinion).

Your comment is perfectly legitimate and I appreciate it. I too find things distracting sometimes, and I agree that they are not necessarily "technical" mistakes. Best wishes, John

Presumably, this is the "girl next door" that PLAYBOY has been seeking all these years, but has yet to find. Β
Really a great shot; love that look of knowing innocence.

Lovely. I like the tight framing of the model. Not sure about the door frame on the right but a nice shot with good light and lovely model.
