Description
In the Stargate franchise they frequently used ancient Egyptian gods as the villains.Sobek is an ancient Egyptian god that was never used. In Egyptian art he was frequently portrayed as a man with a crocodiles head, hence the Jaffa armor on the right.
For those who are unfamiliar with the franchise the Jaffa are basically the slaves of the main villains, the Gou'auld.
Their foot soldiers frequently wore body armor that reflected who it was they served.
**EDIT** I uploaded a newer version of this - I tweaked the planet in the background a bit to make it a little more detailed.

Well Sobek couldn't be used cause in Stargate SG 1 they tell us that he was executet after a sucsessful military campain against Kali and Bastet and his head decorates Bastets palace sinse then (also i thought the whole SG 1 series that Sobek is coll enough to give him a chance as real Systemlord, but also Amatarasu and Yu were cut off to soon)!

I loved the show but a lot of the little details escape me so I dont remember where it was they even mentioned him.

Well that's why i have every episode on dvd (well every one with O'Neill but only till the Ori come in, i don't like them much)!

I actually own all ten seasons as well - hehe.
As well as the two Sci-Fi Network movies.
