can i know why did you have to do the lineart? i think that you could actually skip that part because the sketch has a form already

He's keeping the value sketch in mind, so it still has a purpose. He probably doesn't even like working in b&w. Or, he just wants a more clean start.

Your work is very inspiring and I can't believe how fantastic of an artist you are just 24!! I hope to be as good as you one day. Did you ever take classes or anything or did you just teach yourself how to use photoshop and choose colors? I'm guessing you were a fantastic drawer to begin with because your sketches are undefinable perfect.
