My first fully-colored version of Cyborg is finally completed. It started out hard, but once I got the hang of the tech parts it got a lot easier. About 8 hours total work across 4 days.
The progress images I've been posting will be moved into the Sketches and Roughs section of my gallery [link] , so feel free to go over there and see the steps I took to make this.
Sorry for the ugly watermark. Been thieved a bit too much lately.

The watermark isn't ugly at all.
Anyway, great portrait of Cy! He doesn't get nearly enough love.
(Probably because he looks like he would be hard to draw...)

He's also not written very well. Season 3 was not as good as it could have been, and he has way too many "I'm a robot and I'm not good enough - Oh, now I'm good enough because I'm me" type episodes through the run of the series. He has more potential that was given him by the writers - IMHO.

Yeah... I guess that sometimes he had the vibe of "token black character". That was pretty insulting.
But other times he cracked me up! Especially when he sang that song.

Actually, I'm glad they never really brought up race with his character. No secret identities, no need to involve race. Heros are just heros.

Hot damn, that looks awesome. I almost don't want to post my Starfire picks now, because you do the artwork so well, it looks like actual cells from the show. Man, your awesome!

I will eventually. I had to finish my one last PPG pick before I continue with the Starfire one. I'm rather proud of this one, your shading and advice on body shapes helped! Thanks a lot John, you really helped.
