Description
Sorry it's not the best photo, but I'm happy with how this is coming along. The client asked for a weathered stainless steel and this is what I mixed up for the resin kit. I still have more to do, but I hope this will prove that I'm still getting projects done! heheThe gun is a kit made of plastic and cast resin. No metal aside from possibly the small hex screws. The entire body (minus the grips) was painted primer gray at one point before I started my voodoo on it, hehe

Do want. Looks like a solid chunk of steel with a rubber grip, fantastic texturing.

I really like this one as well, honestly. I'm glad you liked it as well
I did this one back in 2011 and kinda wish I had access to it now. I just want to add a little more detail to it, hehe

I think they actually used the PK-D prop gun in the first season of Battlestar Galactica before they switched the Colonial pistol to the FN Five seveN.

So funny that more than one person has said that. Maybe it's the lighting, but I didn't set out to make it look cgi'ish I take it as a compliment because some of the guns I try to give a cell-shaded look

A guy on RPF.com made it, it is a very nice quality and the details are far better than most I've worked on. If you search there I'm sure you'll find him and his contact info. Thanks bud!

Heeey, that's brilliant. I have to admit, I only saw the movie once and played the game only a bit. So why are there 2 triggers?

I'm honestly not 100% sure, but usually it's a larger backup shot, similar to a 2-trigger shotgun or the like. Maybe it just looked cool, haha

The Fallout one is a reference to blade runner's gun ^^ The creators of the saga were huge lovers of Blade Runner

I like that little "Made in Austria" stamp on it.
Was the original Blade Runner Gun from Austria or is it just a funny little leftover?

the original gun was partly a steyr made in Austria. One of their most famous guns is the Aug.
