Description
Here's an Alpha Trooper for a French buyer who's taking 4 of my guns to a convention in France. Viva la Nerf! The theme was a bit of Mass Effect and some animated Clone Wars is in there too!

aww but modifying the internals is half the fun. I figure if your going to take the thing apart to paint it you might as well increase it's power a little.
The first few modern nerf guns with the clip systems that I modded really threw me for a loop... I'd love to meet the engineers who think up these designs. It's amazing what goes into the internal mechanics of these "toys".

Thats very true. I'm alway amazed at the complexity of these things. I do disassemble the guns when possible, but most of the time the main bodies of the rifles stay shut and I tape the gun up. The reverse-plunger style guns just don't increase in power enough to warrant all that work, but I see where you're coming from with that thought!

Drilling out the air restrictor is about all I ever wind up doing with them... of course nothing will compare to the power of the compressed air nerf cannon I constructed from scratch... I wish there was a way to implement a CO2 cartridge into a nerf gun, or perhaps convert a CO2 powered paintball gun into a high power nerf launcher....
ok... now I'm rambling... sorry.

ramble on! I am not someone you can go into too much detail with...ask my very patient family and friends That would be really cool, I would think an airsoft tank might work well

Dude if you're doing a Mass effect paint scheme the deploy is the only blaster to do it on, they fold out just like the ones in the game... well maybe not as snazzy but you get the drift. Awesome paintjob as usual

Oh yea, I know all about the exclusives. I was in Target the other day but it was still 20 bucks, I think I'll just have to wait until it goes on sale.

Ya, $20 is $20. Remember when a toy could cost 3-6 bucks and be awesome?
