Description
This is a Nerf Longstrike with custom barrels in the front and a typical dark color for the body. I have decals in bright gold to be added as soon as they arrive. Those should really pop with the dark contrast...hope!

Impressive shaping and colour, indeed a work to make others jealous. Though I must admit, the barrel does seem too short to be a long las. Ah, still... it's beautiful.

While it looks good, it desperately needs the distinctive lasgun muzzle to make it recognizable as what you intend. Also, standard lasguns are pretty long weapons to begin with, so if you really want to get across that it's a longlas, you might consider using an even longer barrel.

I very much agree. Those missing elements were due to my lack of the tools that would have made those easier to fabricate. I'll be sure to incorporate that into any future guns tho

You clearly have a lot more practical experience with these things than I do, but if it's not presumptuous of me to make a suggestion; In theory it seems like it might be relatively straightforward to fabricate the lasgun muzzle out of just some thick walled PVC pipe, provided you have a relatively fine-toothed saw to ensure a smooth cut.

It was more of finding a size that would sleeve well to the smaller diameter pipe. I was originally going to do a more rectangular shaped break, but I'll keep the options open based on how they look IRL. Sometimes it looks good on paper and not in actual use. I do appreciate any input, thank you

Haha thank you, I wish I was able to describe all the stuff I do to get those finishes, but i just do a lot of it by instinct.

You know, to be honest, I'm a bit scared to get a fast wash of any attention. I want to do this full time, but I'm not a business manager and I think I'd get crushed. Not that I think my work is somehow above many other people, but I just feel like a gradual ramping up is the best course for me. If I never made another friend on here, I'd be totally happy with the folks who enjoy my stuff right now. It's humbling and I don't always feel worthy of the praise. I just enjoy making stuff that gives me a smile. I get so few of those these days that it's something to really look forward to each afternoon.
Now having said all that mushy stuff, I would never turn down an opportunity to get feedback from such a group of people, I just have no idea how to go about submitting my pictures or what they would want to do with them. If you have any knowledge on that subject, please drop me a PM
