I think it's in the newest game when that symbol goes on the helmet? It starts off with the "F90" designation, but I think that may be the point where it changes. Good question though, I do hear both in comments!

any thoughts on colored tinting for the visor? perhaps an LED or 2 for an inner gliw through it?

The visor actually is tinted a bluish green color like in the game. Internal lighting is an option as well, it just adds a bit to the cost.
