I used a bandsaw to cut off that section with the bipod mounting points. I then added pieces from my back stock of parts that looked appropriate

We make them in-house and they're for the commission pieces only, unfortunately. Because they're each made by hand the cost to sell them individually would be beyond most people's rationalization

Just saw this and thinking the Longshot reciever would do good for one of those fully-auto Vladof sniper-rifles... Barrel from another would do better though...

That was custom made with my Dad. He's getting into this prop stuff, which I think is really cool. Then I can boss him around a bit...hehe

It's in you to do better than I can, you just have to strive to get there. I'm probably at 3000 hours of practice over the past few years. A lot of that is mistakes but I don't tend to show those off. hehe I do learn from the "mistakes" and sometimes find new techniques because I did something incorrectly. It's all good fun regardless, just start with really cheap toys and mess those up. Move to the nice stuff when you feel like you're ready. Good luck it

I love the sickle mag you put on it, is that an false outer shell over one or have you finally figured out the long searched-for mystery of how to make an curved Nerf magazine?

Haha, the mag is a shell over a fuctional 6-rd'er. Unless Nerf starts to taper their darts like a real 7.62 round, you'll never get a banana clip to work that isn't about 4 feet long, lol

How do you paint these things and still handle them? Wouldn't your hands rub off the paint?

I put as much clearcoat on as I can without ruining the paint job underneath. I can also have a thicker coat applied if it's going to be used for a lot of filming, etc.. I'm glad you like it, thank you

That is bad ass! How do the blue parts hold a charge to glow in the dark might I ask? A special paint or such? And if so, where can I get some

You'd be best to use krylon's spray or brush-on glow paint. It's not as intense as the pure glow pigment, but its only 7.00 a can at Home Depot

What is a black light?
Looks awesome though, I wonder how you make the painting look so... weathered. Spraypaint I bet, then, you scrub it through with emery paper? And it's made only of Nerf parts? How many?
