What was the motivation for leaving out vertical stabilizers? Or are there any on the dorsal surfaces?

Awesome, but there is a mistake with left wing, looks odd, - is the closest wing to the viewpoint but smallest, it should be bigger.

What resolution do you usually use for these paintings?

It depends actually, sometimes i just crop from a preset A4 size, maybe something like a 2500x1200? but i usually keep it a 16:9 ratio for these.

wow, this is amazing, the sense of scale is amazing, and the design of the ship reminds me of the new VTOL fighter jet, the Lightning II, that the USAF AND RAF have developed.
