Well he's a leader of the Jackal squad but he get brainvashed by the phantom ruby's hallucination when he attacked Dr.Ivo (Eggman).
He get lucky when the sword get blocked by the Phantom Ruby , so eggman don't get cracked :-D.

those look good but I do have a nit pick.....the helmet where the blue eye is (the lighting bolt) should be black then white stripes and well you should make the eye for the mask where you see his yellow eye a bit more red or a darker red since you don't see the white of his eye.....but anyway this is lovely sprites ^^

I didn't make the part where the eye is solid black because that just looks ugly (using plain black in general for sprites is more times than not ugly), so I opted to go with the same style of black I used for his gloves. Also white stripes??? If you mean the ones on his back and sides, those are generally the same color as his hair so I did that here as well. Making them more interesting by adding a red-ish tint to them rather than plain boring white. As for the red tint on his eye, I didn't want to oversaturate it so I made it a more "subtle" red so it wasn't very obtrusive. This is a first attempt and I may go back to it, but more than likely not.

no I meant for the ear of his helmet one is black with white strips and the other side is white with black strips 
the side where his thunderbolt is seen is supposed to have black then white strips anyway here's a rough doodle of what I meant on saying about the masked version's ears (so wish I had my new charger cord this would look alot better and less rough)
