Okay, out of pure and utter boredom, me and my friend NAV came up with this new power ranger series called Power Rangers: Universal Knights. And how we wanted to make it different was by adding one thing that NONE of the other ranger series before have had, a FEMALE RED RANGER! The red ranger is always the leader, but never has the Red Ranger been female. So here she is, the leader, a female, Red Ranger Mars. Behind her is her Zord, the Wolf Knight Zord. Of course, not actual size, just shrunk the zord down so it could be seen with her. Enjoy and check out the other two rangers!

Like the idea... though you MAY want to put something up to tell the people reading this concept that the team ISN'T based on mythology... like putting a footnote on the top of your Power Rangers folder saying that... just so you don't get any angry comments on how your messing with Greek/Roman mythology.

We could really use a good female red. Lauren in Samurai is... okay. She shows up when the series is nearly finished, accomplishes nothing, and ends up being completely pointless. All that happens is Jaden leaves, everyone complains and she makes another Shiba Fire Disk.

The red ranger isn't always the Leader
Delphina, the White Ranger from Mighty Morphin' Alien Rangers, is their leader lol
But I agree with you - there SHOULD be a female red ranger in the current team (The SPD A-Squad and Samurai Power Rangers both had female red rangers, but they weren't major characters)

Well, the leader ain't always red. Case in point: The Alien Rangers and their Sentai counterparts. The leader of the team is the female white ranger. There. Female leader.
Another instance of athe White Ranger leading: Tommy in seasons 2 & 3.

LoL I'm glad you like it. Yeah, when I was coming up for the idea of these rangers, the one thing I really wanted was a female lead. You never get to see that. They're always either Pink or Yellow. On rare occassions you get a blue one as well.

The Female Blue ranger is in the Power Rangers: Ninja Storm series. She was pretty tough. You should check that one out.

I have my own PR series idea with a female red leader. Its called "Power Rangers: Atlantis". The theme of it would be dragons and such.

I like the idea. But just as a side note there was at least one female Red Ranger that I can think of. In Power Rangers S.P.D. the A squad had a female Red ranger named Charlie. Heres a reference site [link] But nice work overall.

Well technically "Charlie" doesn't count since she was a copout. That and for it to be offical it'd have to be from Sentai(I mean if you knew how many gender changes the yellow rangers had)

You bet. And yeah, that is a shame... I thought it was well worth a try. S.P.D. is practically my favorite series, well over MysticForce, and I wished that they had done more with A team. A team was better than B team (the actual rangers in the series,) but only in style, and in bad-assery.

LoL really? I only saw a couple of SPD episodes and it wasn't too bad. Though I must admit my favorite series thus far is DinoThunder. I know the costumes and zords are basically just a remake of the original, but the White Ranger's costume really was the best. And it was good to see Tommy come out of retirement. Of course he was in that Forever Red episode, which is odd since I didn't think Jason would still BE a ranger. LOL, but ah well. Whatever will be, will be.

S.P.D. is great because I absolutely love each and every ranger, which was a first for me. It has some of the best plots, and the best action scenes I've seen. Not to mention I drool over SWAT rangers. DinoThunder is also great, and yes hands down the White ranger has the coolest costume of all time. I think Tommy Oliver was the best part of the series IMO, because it just brings back such memories. If your in the states and you get TOON Disney they play DinoThunder and S.P.D. every night, which is a blessing.

LoL yeah, I try to watch it on Toon Disney when I can, they really were great series. I don't know what it is about Mystic Force but it just doesn't catch my attention. Maybe it's because of all the titles that have used Force so far. Mystic Force, Time Force, Wild Force. I'm waiting for them to just called a series "Force" and be done with it. LoL.
But yeah, Tommy was the BEST for DinoThunder. It was great seeing this ex-ranger actor start over again in the series. but ti was awkward when he was trapped in his ranger suit for all those episodes. I wonder if there was a dispute or he was sick or something. LoL. Best though was when he fought against all his alteregos (Green, White and Zeo Red). LoL that was a blast to see.
But SPD wasn't too bad. I liked the red ranger for it. Jack was his name? He was probably one of the better Red Rangers IMO. I mean, there have only been a couple ethically diverse Red Rangers, T.J. for Turbo, that one guy from Ninja Storm, Jack from SPD, and now this other guy for Mystic Force, he looks italian to me. LoL, I could be wrong. but it was a fun series.
