it's a top cow comic mini series based on 13 different ancient artifacts that bestow unique powers upon the individuals in possession of them. if you're into anime, you might have heard of witchblade, which is actually one of the artifacts... a balance between the darkness and the angelus (two other artifacts and opposite primal forces). this particular picture is the darkness, which is also a first person shooter video game (and recent deviantart contest). so far, the only artifacts to have an on-going comic series have been witchblade and the darkness (angelus has had a mini series and a one-shot). you can view the rest of his gallery to see the other artifact bearers, as well as check out my group to see more art from witchblade, the darkness, and angelus: #TopCowTrinity . anyway, hope that helps.
