Description
Turtles I was working on last weekend that I finished up today. Just meant for fun and an exercise in traditional stuff since I don’t do traditional often. Done in copics, markers, sharpies, etc. The fabulous inking job on Raph and Mikey was done by Chibiluka because she really enjoys inking. I made a lot mistakes, but it was for fun so I hope you’ll just enjoy them for what they are. I don’t know why Leo is disproportionally epic. But I think Raph came out well because I did him last and when I wasn’t preoccupied with convention stuff xD
Donnie has pink eyes because I couldn’t find a better red/brown XD;; oh well he looks cute >w>;; Oh, and painting freckles in copics is soooo fun *w*Please do not redistribute, claim, copy, edit in any way. Thank you

This use of markers is excellent~!
I use to good at copics too, but I've since stopped using them.
The colors were always so off whenever I scanned them and I could never figure out how to fix that.
Even adjusting the colors in photoshop didn't do a whole lot of good.

Thank you that means a lot! I still feel like such an armature when it comes to copics!
Yeah I have the same issue with scanning. I have to put them in photoshop and make adjustments, like manually adjusting hue/sat. Sometimes even just adjusting the hue/sat on just one color or one part of the image. The last copic scan I did I actually went in with a brush and manually added blue back in to mimic what the copics originally did. But yeah, it's not easy to get around the scanning issue.

Your welcome, Hun. Well practice makes perfect as they say if that's how you feel.
Hmm, you reapplied color with a photoshop brush to match what originally looked like? I should try that.

Thank you
Yep, sometimes painting the color back in is the best method. For this one johnyume.deviantart.com/art/Le… he lost all the blue tones in his skin. So I just added a new layer, set the layer to Overlay, then painted the blue back in. I just carefully look at my original copic drawing to make sure it matches. It's not a perfect match, but the difference is minor and it's MUCH better than the regular scan or the auto color fix.

I'm gonna have to try that.
What about his mask, did the blue wash out of that?

It takes time and learning how to blend helps, though I'm sure I'm still not doing it right exactly @ - @
