Description

Once Yen Sid was done speaking, Aqua looked to the small boy they had been discussing. He really does look like Ven she thought to herself as Roxas watched her from behind his friend. Of course, she had been told when she was called to the Mysterious Tower, and it was something she instantly recognized the moment she saw him, but it wasn't until now that she was able to fully focus on his face. The boy shrunk back in response to her gaze. Aqua smiled at him and came closer, though kept a distance to avoid frightening him further.

"Hi," she said gently as she knelt down. "Your name's Roxas, right? I'm Aqua."

In reply, Roxas hid himself closer to Lea.

"Kids these days," Lea added, though there was no hint of irritation in his tone. "C'mon, Roxas," he encouraged, but the boy refused to budge.

"It's okay, we can talk from here if you want," she smiled as she assured the boy. Aqua looked up at Lea, "he really trusts you."

NightMistEclipse was telling me a bit about an AU of his, and it gave me the idea for this little picture/scene.
