was thinking about putting this as a spoiler but, no, because 1) the game has been out for a longtime. and 2) the new HD remake screen shots makes for no question as to 'who' the hooded person is. (unlike the DS one, without voiceovers, the sprites made him a mystery)all we've been through...we've seen you're life Roxas. we know you. SO WHY are you saying these things?! (that's a rhetorical question so don't answer). This part is difficult for sora, but it's tough for us the players as well! T_T remember this was back when there was no hope for nobodies. or for anyone for that matter.
quite honestly Castle Oblivion Is my favorite part in Re:Coded. It just has so much drama (the good kind not the bad kind) I'm So excited to hear Jessy and Hayley's performance in these scenes.

Well, they ARE the same guy, so, you're right, he IS talking to himself, but at the same time, not. Plus, he doesn't have the real Roxas's memories(he was probably created BEFORE Xion's "death") of when Xion died, so Data-Roxas probably doesn't know what it feels like to lose and forget someone like the real Roxas did. Of course, this also means that if Roxas met Data-Roxas, Roxas would probably be angry at his data self for saying things like that and then they would probably fight. Ironic, isn't it all?

yes I agree.... Roxas is still hurting thats why he says it to sora but he repeatedly told himself these things millions of times.
so its painful... and the hurt of her angers him and pains him.

My favorite part of Kingdom Hearts as a series is the chills stuff like this sends down my spine.
I always feel like people who haven't played the game and just watch the cutscenes miss out on all this awesome/heart-wrenching stuff!

Maybe it's just me, but I think Roxas was testing Sora in that part. If Sora's willing to to shrug something off as "unimportant" because he can't remember what it is, then maybe he shouldn't try to continue his journey.
(I haven't actually played the game, but I watched my brother play this part)

Re:Coded was my first KH game so I didn't fully understand what was going on, but still, was startled (and kinda amused) how deep and dramatic a game with Chip and Dale on the cover was turning out to be lol

I was only in it for the gameplay at the time (my friend showed me DDD and I thought that was what I was getting into). It intrigued me enough to borrow Days and that's how I got into the franchise. I didn't understand/pay enough attention to have Re:coded spoil Days' ending, so I was a little... surprised at the ending, to say the least.

I have a feeling that Roxas was sort of angrily talking to himself in addition to superficially taunting Sora. Taking out his own frustration with himself and his grief out on Sora, and/or projecting onto him, that sort of thing.
