So about a year ago, some things happened...and IGN was back at it with KHyeah I'm picking an old scab, but I needed to post this eventually, when better than the anniversary of IGN's failed video review.

I didn't know about this 'cause I don't watch game reviews. I just watch trailers and gameplays. Checking it out and now I understand why. Good lord! They could at least have someone who actually plays the games to do the review.

I didn't feel as though the clip was terribly offensive.
I can only really get up in arms about Kingdom Hearts when people speculate on the inclusion of Marvel and Star Wars.
Cause that idea would be idiotic.

It's 'offensive' because they don't even know the character's names, and they both admitted to not having played it or knowing much of anything about Kingdom Hearts. Why are you discussing Kingdom Hearts news when you aren't even familiar with the game at all?
I can understand if it was a simple mispronunciation. I'm sure there are some characters who I know, but whose names I'll still say wrong (like the organization members), but people expect a little professionalism from IGN.
If you don't have anyone on staff who knows about the game, then hire a guest host or someone who can break it down correctly and point out what viewers should be excited to learn or play with.
This isn't the first time they've done something like this, hence the extreme dislike for IGN within the KH fandom. They never seem to learn from their mistakes and get someone who knows what they're talking about. Makes you question all their other game coverage.

XD Yep. IGN just can never take a hint and get a reporter who ACTUALLY knows and likes KH... well, or just give up reporting on KH. Especially when there are many more people and sources who could do a much better and less biased job.

And this is why I don't go to sites like MetaCritic or Rotten Tomato.
Instead, I watch reviews on Youtube in order to get an "informed" opinion.
