Drake and his little friend are starting an adventure.
This is my part of the art trade with . She wanted me to draw a little golden dragon, I could think of bg and situation by myself. The dragon named "Drake" stands for her little son, who is not even one year old and named "Drake" in real life! (This is so cool!
) Well, its still so unbelievable for me, that I have an art trade with her, because she always was my great rolemodel, I always wanted to draw like her. She was, who inspired me so much and it is such a big honour for me to have this opportunity! I am soo excited, what she will draw for me and how she will like the pic!
I tried to make the picture look like an illustration for a children book, I experimented alot with colors, structures and lights, I hope you like it! Maybe this will turn into some kind of series?

Kannst du mir irgendwelche Tipps geben zum colorn? Ich will auch mal realistisch malen, aber ich kanns nicht und find keine guten Tutorials D: Γbrigens den Process dazu find ich schon mal interessant ;D

Oh wow this very beautiful. I say this is different from the usual I like the way you have the all the objects that show the dragons size in the time of fall. I also like the awe and amazed look on the dragons face as its blue eyes just focus on this falling oak leaf, while the white mouse stares at the dragon, but off to the side stares at the split shell horse chestnuts. I think what brings this all together is the warm bright goldenrod colors. I also like the misty quality as it to me adds distance along with the water color trees simple but elegant.
