Early Life
Jong-san was born in the northern part of Korea during the Japanese Empire in April 5, 1924. When he was 5, his mother Ryang Hye-hyeon (량혜현 / 梁惠鉉) unfortunately got murdered by the Japanese, which caused him to be left with his father Kim Cheol-rip (김철립 / 金哲立) still caring for him. He grew up learning the Korean language and studying Buddhism, Korean history, and Classical Chinese, which he actually became bilingual, speaking both Korean and Chinese. While he's under education, the Koreans are still fighting against the Japanese imperial rule. Jong-san sometimes join the independence movement, because he shows the total pride of being a Korean.

By the time the Japanese surrendered and the Korean Peninsula got liberated in 1945, the forces by the Soviet Union entered the northern part of Korea, causing the entire peninsula to split up into two different governments. Therefore, Jong-san moves on to support the Korean government under Soviet Union. Surprisingly, Jong-san and his father got merged to the Kim dynasty family, becoming a "pet" to its politician and leader named Kim Il-sung (김일성 / 金日成). He first meet Seong-Yoon the Dog (김성윤 / 金星胤), who was one of the government officials under Kim Il-sung and Soviet's regime, and became his partner, both educating each other on Marxism-Leninism. They both spend some years reading a lot of books and listening to the radio about the government. Until in 1948, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (조선민주주의인민공화국 / 朝鮮民主主義人民共和國) or North Korea got officially established. One year later, Seong-Yoon and Jong-san both entered the Workers' Party of Korea (조선로동당 / 朝鮮勞動黨) as members, listening to Kim Il-sung's commands. Few months later, Seong-Yoon had been appointed to the Korean People's Army (조선인민군 / 朝鮮人民軍) to start commanding the military, while Jong-san remains in the party, very busy listening to the government and continuing to read more books. That causes those two to not meet each other often...

Middle Life
In 1950, the war in the Korean peninsula started as North Korea first invaded the Southern border. Jong-san takes a long hiatus to gain some "freedom" on investigating the war. Because of his full interests in reading and researching, he travels around both Korean borders to look at some books and newspapers to read while providing support to the Northern military and the government fighting against the South. The war continues as the United Nations Commands, which is allied with the United States helps the South invade the Northern border, but unfortunately pushes up towards the border to China. During that time, his father got killed by the American military.

That causes this Zoroark to forcefully run back to the Northern border and to China as the South and American forces invades through. There, Jong-san first meet Ga-Kwok, as being commanded to support the Chinese army troops intervening and defending the Northern military. Amazingly, he talked to Ga-Kwok in Chinese until they become best friends together, because they shared their equal negative views about the South and the American military. As the Chinese troops defends the North military, both Ga-Kwok and Jong-san entered the North and he introduced Ga-Kwok to North Korea's government and society. While continuing to provide military support, they continue to travel around the border to investigate the society, but they were terrified to see the ruins of the land. Until in 1953, the Korean War got into armistice, which made the Korean Peninsula still divided nowadays. Ga-Kwok stayed in North Korea for one more year until he remains back in China. He gave a big hug to Jong-san and waved goodbye to each other as they "set their best-friendships aside" for next time in the future. They also state to themselves that they never separate and will miss each other forever until they see each other again in the future.

After the Korean War stopped into armistice, Jong-san gets back into work in politics under Kim Il-sung's leadership. South Korea is still under American militarist relationship, which made Jong-san never traveled to the South again for the remaining of his life, despite himself being pro-communist and anti-democratic.

Few decades passed, as North Korea is under some big problems with its governance. Jong-san and Seong-Yoon has been surviving their life trying to gain more energy and continue supporting the government over the society problems, such as famine, poverty, environment health problems, and even the loss of Soviet Union. Because of that, North Korea then got into isolation from the rest of the world. China unfortunately opened up to the Western world and even get to open relationships to South Korea, for which North Korea felt ashamed by it. However, China is still considered as North Korea's ally, in case to keep defending it from American imperialism. Ga-Kwok still loves Jong-san even though they still experience some changes to their ally relationship. North Korea even starts the nuclear program in the later developments, as Jong-san takes part with the workers in developing nuclearization.

North Korea is slowly developing into modernized society, promoting its own political system called Jucheism. In 1994, Kim Il-sung died, which made Jong-san deep sad about his passing. He and the Kim dynasty lead the nationwide mourning throughout the capital, Pyongyang, by following Kim Il-sung's casket to the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun (금수산태양궁전 / 錦繡山太陽宮殿) where he'll be preserved in the glass coffin for the viewing purposes by the future citizens. Kim Il-sung's son, Kim Jong-il (김정일 / 金正日) becomes the next leader of North Korea, and he follows his commands through the modernization of Jucheism.

Jong-san didn't meet Ga-Kwok for a long time. In the 2000s, they got to see each other again privately, but only for rare times, because of their ongoing busiest modern developments. Unfortunately, North Korea is going through some nuclear campaigns that made a lot of countries show concern to its actions. When Ga-Kwok heard some kind of news, he sometimes runs back to the North Korean embassy in Beijing to have the emergency meeting to discuss about North Korea's intention that Jong-san should follow, but without any disobedience. As Jong-san explains, Ga-Kwok tends to understand that he cannot disobey or use any offensive actions.

Some years later, in 2011, Kim Jong-il died, and Jong-san felt sad about his death. He shows deep grief to Kim Jong-il as he and the Kim family lead his state funeral. Kim Jong-il's son, Kim Jong-un (김정은 / 金正恩) then takes office, becoming the next chairman for nowadays, continuing on the plans of modernizing North Korea's society and its nuclear program.

Later Life
Throughout some decades until nowadays, North Korea got criticized by some democratic countries, especially its main rival, the United States, that's still an biggest ally to South Korea. This made Jong-san feel very affected by the Western democracy, showing fears that he'll get seriously brainwashed by them. But, he's still belonged to the Kim dynasty that they'll continue to safeguard Jong-san from the enemies.

So, being safe under Jucheist authorities, Jong-san continues to follow Kim Jong-un's commands and takes a lot of duties on collaborating with the Worker's Party of Korea, like being commanded to attend more important meetings, meet with the society comrades and sometimes help them with the developments, and even sometimes will collaborate with the workers on organizing the ongoing nuclear program. He sometimes do continue to maintain long-relationships with Ga-Kwok, but they still need to find their specific times to be inside the embassies at the same time to make a private call to each other to talk more about each other's nations. He's shown to be very disciplined and busy with his ongoing duties to safeguard North Korea and complete the tasks of reunifying the Southern border to make a complete Korean nation under Jucheism with full peace.

However in 2024, Kim Jong-un made a public statement toward the authorities, stating that North Korea is eliminating all references to the Korean reunification, because due to its "impossible" goal on reunifying the Southern border. He also claiming that the Southern border is the enemy towards the North, as well as claiming the Southern border as the "foreign country", making the Korean peninsula still divided. To Jong-san, he eventually felt very concerned about the decision, but could not give up on his reunification views.

Jong-san, very elder nowadays, is currently 100. He remains disciplined and sometimes quiet while being busy with his duties.

Personal Life
Besides just being busy with his duties in politics, Jong-san can have the limits of free times like almost everyday, but still needs to be informed by the government. He sometimes move between different places for his life, like remain in Pyongyang to be busy with his political duties, or being in his permanent residential house in P'yŏngsŏng (평성 / 平城) to spend some times relaxing. What he does in his free times is he likes to read a lot of newspapers and various books. He even likes to write a lot of research papers, from various resources that he looked. For the other interests, Jong-san loves singing songs, drawing pictures, waving the national flag or its party flag to show big patriotism to the entire North Korean community, and hugging the citizens! He's known to be very cute and huggable politician that most citizens love.

Although Jong-san is the only politician from North Korea for being "anti-international" in North Korea, he sometimes experienced some "foreign-protests" (외국 시위 / 外國示威) that lead to his offensive emotions. He even doesn't recognize himself as being part of the entire global Pokémon community, just because he is actually a Pokémon. (Even Ga-Kwok doesn't recognize that as well.)
