You might still know that a border country North Korea is the only foreign country that Ga-Kwok (Edmonton) shows the greatest friendship to, because of it's alliance relationship to China. And of course, he has a long-time best North Korean comrade named Jong-san , who shows the long-friendly relationships to.

Here is Ga-Kwok having a picture during sunset at the tallest hotel in North Korea, called the Ryugyong Hotel (류경호텔 / 柳京호텔), which is located in its capital Pyongyang (평양 / 平壤).

The 105-story hotel is currently unfinished that the people cannot tell when the hotel is estimated to be completed and open publicly. The construction took place in 1987, however, when the hotel reached its full height, it was unfortunately halted in the 1990s, following the economic crisis and the dissolution of North Korea's ally, the Soviet Union. This made the construction remain unfinished with the government experiencing the total lack of economic property. The hotel then remain vacant and without windows, fixtures, and inventories for a decade. In 2008, the hotel construction resumed, with the collaboration by Orascom Group from Egypt. The hotel exterior was completed in 2011. It planned to open publicly at next year in 2012, celebrating the centenary of the birth of Kim Il-sung (김일성 / 金日成), however it got suspended, because due to controversies over initial agreement deal and its nuclearization test. Few years later, the access roads and signs for the hotel were constructed, as well as the LED light display got installed. Nowadays, it is still unknown when the Ryugyong Hotel will officially open to the public in the future.

Jong-san had been collaborating with the workers on the construction of the Ryugyong Hotel, despite different changes still occurs, but still wishes the hotel opens publicy in the future. As for Ga-Kwok, he has got some interests to see how the construction of the hotel goes, but since it still cannot be finished, he still needs to wait patiently. Whenever Ga-Kwok comes back to North Korea to hang out with Jong-san for some days, he'll somehow ask Jong-san to take him to the unfinished Ryugyong Hotel to check on the construction process.
