Description

In this alternate timeline, Gohan rapidly eliminated Super Buu before he absorbed anyone and saved the Earth. After asking New Namek to use their Dragon Balls, the Earth is restored to normal and everyone (Outside of the ''Dragon Team'') forgets about Majin Buu, leading to Goku remaining dead and Vegeta becoming an incorporeal soul, sent to wait for his reincarnation in Hell. Another unexpected change is Uub, who'll be the reincarnation of Super Buu instead of Kid Buu, being more powerful than in canon due to having both Buu's power.

Six months later, the events of ''Fusion Reborn'' would take place, as villains from the past returned (Save for other movie villains like Bojack and Paragus), as Frieza is defeated by Gotenks and Cell once again by Gohan. The events of the movie happen as in the original movie and Janemba is finally defeated by Gogeta, restoring Other World and returning the living dead back to the afterlife. Following the battle, Goku would speak with those on Earth and explain what happened, who still having Shenron waiting for a wish, prompted Bulma to revive Vegeta (Grand Kai allowed this as a reward for his help in Other World) and also erasing people's memories again. In the following four years, the world was at peace and Gohan had kept training to protect Earth. Due to the battle with Buu and the Janemba event, Gohan decided to pick up with his training and make his father pround, learning how to blend the life of a warrior and a scholar.

However, everything would change after Beerus woke up and seek the, ''Super Saiyan God'', starting by meeting the dead saiyan living with the North Kai. The events follow a similar path to the canon, Beerus defeats Goku and goes to Earth, where due to the lack of Buu, he actually has a fun time and even wins the birthday's lottery granting him a wish with the Dragon Balls. Since Shenron is terrified of Beerus, he'll only grant one wish and the destroyer asks for the Super Saiyan God, prompting the dragon to everything about it, such as the ritual to call forth that power. Unfortunately for everyone, even with Videl revealing his pregnancy they still lack one saiyans for the ritual, so Beerus orders Whis to ''pick up'' the other saiyan. In a blink, Whis returns with Goku now brough back to life thanks to the angel's power, as Beerus not only resurrected him to perform the ritual, but as a reward for dealing with Frieza. Thanks to the ritual, Goku becomes the Super Saiyan God and thanks to Gohan's suggestion, he and Beerus go to the Sacred World of the Kai and have their rematch. Like in canon, he eventually loses his new form and gets bested by Beerus, who's pleased with the battle and intrigued on the saiyans' potential.

Note - The reason villains like Raditz, the Ginyu Force and others hadn't reincarnated yet (At least in this alternate reality) is their power level. While regular evil souls don't take long before cleansed and reincarnated, those with a high power level take much longer to be purified and dwell in Hell as incorporeal ghosts (Looking like Dr. Mashirito in the Dragon Ball Super x Dr. Slump crossover). However, there's cases where exceptionally evil souls (Like Frieza) are given a body and thus making their torment even worse.
