Description
After death, Heaven deems you worthy of becoming a protector of humanity, also known as an ''Angel''. When you're transformed, this grants you a myriad of superpowers like superhuman strength, speed, agility, reflexes, stamina and durability, accelerated healing factor, immortality/invulnerability (Never aging, immune to disease and invulnerable to mortal weapons), shape-shifting (True angel form and human disguise), omnilingualism (Can speak and understand all human languages, as well the ''Divine Speech''), telepathy (Angels can speak telepathically, as well read most minds), flight (By conjuring wings of light), light manipulation (Angels can conjure divine light to fight dark entities like demons and evil spirits), healing (Cannot resurrect the dead), spiritual awareness (Can interact with ghosts and spiritual beings) and invisibility (Angels are invisible to those without a high spiritual awareness). However, supernatural beings (Like gods, demons, and other angels) are able to cause physical harm to each other, demonic weapons can bypass an angel's healing factor and if their spiritual essence is destroyed, they'll be permanently dead. When in human form, angels can produce offspring with humans and create ''Half-Angels'' (Also known as ''Nephilim''), who are stronger than humans, but tend to be weaker than angels, as well being only long-lived instead of immortal. Usually awakening their angelic traits during puberty, half-angels have access to superhuman physical abilities, accelerated healing factor, omnilingualism and spiritual awareness, while other powers like telepathy, healing, flight and light manipulation are awakened through training or an intense emotional event.

As for the setting, it takes place in a universe similar to the TV series, Lucifer...

The universe came into existence when the divine couple, ''Yahweh'' and ''Asherah'' embraced each other, which caused the Big Bang and proceeded to create their own home, ''Shamayim'' (Better known as ''Heaven''). The gods have rarely interacted with Earth since the Dark Ages, even not being responsible for creating humanity and rather, Yahweh became so interested on them, that he embraced them into his realm after death, as previously, the essence of living beings would return to them upon death. Another interesting fact is that ''Jesus of Nazareth'' was actually a human blessed by Yahweh (Allowing him to perform his famous miracles) and after his death, he came back to life before finally ascending into Heaven. However, later generations would deify him and even claim he was a direct son of Yahweh, forgetting his true origin over time and using its image to control the world's fate for centuries. Based on typical visions of Heaven, Yahweh made his realm look like a paradisiacal afterlife, where a bright sky oversees everything, as gentle winds blow under the gaze of a warm Sun. In this realm, all sorts of luscious plants grow bountiful and many beasts roam the lands, waters and skies in harmony. Those who reach this paradise don't age or get sick (Returning to their prime), speak the same language, can fly through the skies and are able to eat as much as they want yet never feeling hunger or growing fat.

Regarding ''Demons'', they first appeared when the universe came into existence and the primordial darkness was pushed away, creating the first demons as creatures of chaos. At first, angels and demons fought in great battles in the newborn universe, until Yahweh created ''Gehenna'' (Better known as ''Hell''), a dark spiritual realm for the demons and sealed them until the end of time, appointing one of his eldest sons, ''Samael'', as the guardian of that place to mantain cosmic balance. Eventually, Asherah would use that realm as a place for damned souls and this caused a rift betwen the creator deities that still continues, especially when Samael decleared he liked ruling Gehenna and didn't want to return home. Those sent to Gehenna are forced to endure personally tailored torments in an endless loop created by demons, who feed on their fear and guilt (Finding ''positive energy'' disgusting), hoping that they never repent. If that occurs by realizing that it deserves that punishment, a soul can be leave to either ascend to Heaven or return to Earth via reincarnation.

In the present day, the ''divine family'' is still divided and since Yahweh is depressed after Asherah left (None knows where she went exactly), Heaven is being managed by the highest of all angels, ''Metatron''. Currently, the archangel is dealing with recent attempts from Hell's demons to cause the next global disaster and feed on humanity's fear.
