Hmm, I know it's not complete yet, but maybe you could add in some more complimentary colours to his skin tone in order to define it a little more? Like purples and reds or something. If you were planning on doing that already pay me no heed, rofl. XD (Actually I think you've already done that but it's not as noticeable).
I just find that in realism, adding in those colours makes the image look more, well..realistic. Since shadows and lights aren't all desaturated versions of the same colour. I DON'T MAKE SENSE IGNORE MEEE.
