I have a character in Spontoon Island that also wears a mask like that. BAST in fact. What happens to her is... nothing. Her attitude changes but nothing else about her. Her mask is ritual, to wear when judging others only. But it does give her mask fur.

My thought, it's not when she puts it on, but when she takes it off that the magic happens. She takes it off and discovers that her features have been transformed to a cat's.

Excellent work in this piece, very emotive.
Your choice of color tones and transitions in this were very well thought out. And the stark contrast between her eye and the rest of the piece has a tremendously beautiful effect.
I am very picky about certain details, and eyes are one of the foremost of them. You did very well in this piece.
