Description
Something from the archives. I think this was the last comic I drew on paper, probably around 2008. After that, I'd switched over to producing things 100% digitally. This comic first appeared in Wil Overton's anthology book, Smart Bomb.
I still rather like the idea of anthology books. Maybe I'll cobble together my own, one day. A bunch of short, sci fi/fantasy/horror stories could be fun to write.

And she was the mechanical front for the ship?

Clever! When she first popped up I did expect her to be the alien, but I quickly decided she wasn't. Certainly never expected the house to be the ship.

was not expecting the twist! I mean I saw she was an alien a mile away but the house?!

Yikes. Grim, hopeful, and with a nice twist. I really thought this was going to be Fallout fan fiction up to the end. Great stuff. Would not mind seeing more stories from this world.

I'm kind of surprised that they didn't take account that such an object would've cratered upon impact and would've destroyed part of its surroundungs.

Love the twist ending. Those agents should have taken a closer look at the bottom of the spaceship and how it came to rest next to the house. Did it just drop out of the sky? The placement of the dirt when it landed looks more like the house landed on the spaceship. They have eyes but do not see.

If it's like the Neuralizers from MIB... then no, it doesn't.

I had a hunch the lady wasn't normal, but that bait and switch was brilliant.

Being a native New Mexico resident, I can agree this would not be too out there for this state! But needs more DWI.

So aliens are human-looking, or can at least pretend to look human, and then move off when the feds have done their work.Β Incorrectly.Β Nice.

I'm a little bit confise. Was the girl an alien or something? Otherwise why would she entered the house if it crash into the diner?
