Yeah, I remember when I was in the Marines going through boot camp and things would not be going well. Some poor schmuck would whimper "It can't get any worse than this ..." and we would all hit him.
There's an old beer commercial that would have some guys out fishing on a sunny day with hot bikini babes in their boat handing them beers and one would say "It doesn't get any better than this!" - and they would be right. Other things might be as good - but you do reach a point where they don't really get any better.
Things are NEVER so bad that they can't get worse.

The earthquake wakes up the lizards so they crawl out from under their respective rocks, the tsunami deposits them on land and the radioactivity makes them grow into the huggable mutant monsters we all know from old movies and stuff.

i believe there also was a volcano and some wild fires and snow. and due to the plutonium there might be toxic ground water. Add bowser and u have neasrly all the catastrophies possible in sim city.

I suppose I should be ashamed that 300 pokemon fanart deviations piled up on top of this to delay my seeing it for a few days. But it took away the "Too soon" guilt at least.
The general consensus seems to be that it could still get worse. Mt. Fuji hasn't blown yet.
