I got a peculiar note today. Someone pointed me toward a religious comic which told the reader that pretty much everything you do in life is evil and that the only way your soul will be saved is to give Jesus a pack of Oreos or something….I kinda lost interest before the end.I’m not 100% sure what the intention was of the guy that sent it to me. Did he think I’d find the absurdity of the comic amusing or was he really trying to do a little digital preaching?
Regardless, all it made me do was think “Hey, I haven’t drawn my little devil-girl Yvette for a while”.

I find it kind of funny that this stemmed from a religious comic or blah, but when I saw the works title i couldn't help but think the old phrase "The devil's in the details" so I kinda thought devil of detail, she's the reason why loopholes and fine print exist? lawl

I've had similar experiences where someone pushed the Jesus subject onto me and the next thing I did was draw something pornographic or heretical. I'm probably going to hell for the number of times I've done it too LOLZ! Hang in there, jollyjack! And Yvette is gorgeous

Well... if you follow the bible (and similar religious texts), they pretty much state that *EVERYBODY* sins and thus has an impure soul, and that no impure soul can stand before the face of god. And because *EVERYBODY* is saved and will go to heaven, they must first be cleansed in a lake of fire to purge the sin away. The amount of time your soul spends in this cleansing process is determined by the extent of your sins in life - so the idea is to live a life with as little sin as possible to make that transition shorter.
...of course, religious nuts go and take it in a completely different direction and become morons...
