This reminds me of an episode of the Sonic cartoon show back in the '90s where Robotnik made a gum that would make whoever had it faster than Sonic, and it spends the entire episode getting passed around between the secondary characters. At the end of the episode this turtle eats it, gets going super fast, and then says something like "Let's find that hare so I can have a rematch!"
