Oh I get exactly where she comes from. I just gave up after a while and took on a "baskets only" method. It worked a hell of a lot better - I just couldn't be bothered being quite so anal about it!
Customers do make you slightly mad though. Working behind a till has made me realise that the general public are all morons, apart from the customers I like. >D

i feel like this with very picky customers ._. fast food is MUCH WORST than what this lady is going through. we go through hell EVERYDAY! DX worrying about my till is the LEAST of my worries. it's the ORDERS and the CUSTOMER'S wishes and their pleasure that i have to worry about <_< and you don't know how hard it is to please PICKY and butthole "guests"

I'd love to have someone like that in my local supermarket, the amount of people who seem to barge into the 'X amount or less' aisles, and then spend an age either complaining to the cashier, or trying to fumble with the self-checkout really infuriates me.

I've often felt the same way the one retail job I had at a Target. If I hadn't needed the job at the time I would have loved to have done this.
