I guess everyone seems to harbour concerns that he isn't getting any: people all want to see Art and SOME kind of female in a.... "situation"

We all love Art. You made him a very everyday kind of guy who is easily associatable with the audience. A bit like the early Peter Parker when he's out being the hero but also worrying about school, work, and paying the bills to live a normal life. That's my take on it anyhow.

I had the same reaction when my Male OC Scot placed third in my "favorite OC pole". I think the secsess of both your OC and mine are probably due to the fact that they're both nice relatable guys, with good morals. The sort that women thin "he's charming" and other guys think "that could just as easily be me, really".

That is true. I just feel bad for Pip who fell in love with her and then she used him as she pleased. I understand she's the type of person whom uses others to get what she wants and she pushes hard to get what she wants. She does it for herself, she had to claw her way up to the top and did what she needed to for herself but even then I wish that she hadn't broken Pip's heart in the process. It's the main reason I say Her and not Hilary.
