Ah, yes. Desert Strike. Back in the Sega Genesis days when EA still had its soul.
Wanton destruction. Sharp, funny lines. Atomic horror themes. Lots of boomables and breakables.
It's still funny even if you let the main menu run long enough, too.
As per the sequels...
#2, Make War, Not Love: Playing it now. Seems fun enough, and new nations look promising... I'll probably enjoy it more than the reviews warned.
#3, Big Willy Unleashed: At first I was disappointed that it wasn't released for the PS2. Then I read the reviews, and saw the missions played on YouTube. Meh. It's just as well. Humor's weakened, and no true central theme or satisfying ending. Give it a skip, folks.

I am however looking forward to the latest version of Destroy All Humans on the PS3, I do fear that it will be like the second one. The sequeal to Destroy All Humans really didn't introduce anything innovative in comparison to its predacessor.

I loved DAH 1, but DAH 2 was a little dull if you ask me. Being able to terrorize other nations was fun, but it was kind of lame overall.
