I personally enjoyed the game's humor and the fact that Crypto sounds a bit like Clint Eastwood.
But it left me wanting more... despite it being a sandbox game... Mercenaries was the better than this... In my opinion...

Anyhow, I love these "How to Play" comics, they're, spot on, or, well, mostly (I liked Halo, for one. But, I like a lot of games, really, a game would need to be excessively bad to make me hate it, or just be brainnumbingly dull... Like Pariah...), but, damn hilarious anyway.

Lol. I should pick this up. I did enjoy the nostalgic 1950s of Stubbs the Zombie.. and the fact that it totally ripped everything off the halo engine XD

I loved the first one, mostly because you could punt a human being, or vehicle into the stratosphere using only your mind! The second one was good too, I just was dissapointed that they toned down the mind punt thing, so you could only punt a vehicle a short distances.

And that's why I enjoyed the sequels. They gave more of what was lacking.

I agree with this...it is short, and you actually don't need the exotic devices they give you to continue (Unless you want to destroy everything for fun in...what....1 or 2 hours?) But oh well...it was fun while it lasted

Yeah, that ending snuck up on me too. Still a hilarious game, though. Have you had time to really admire the details? The thoughts and dialog and the pop-culture references and the "conversations" you can stumble upon? There's an MIB who gives away Silhouette's true nature halfway through the game if you pick his brain just right. Good times. The sequel's good too, and with a really intriguing sense of "alternate history" that I found myself almost taking seriously. Can't wait to try out the third game! If I ever manage to get a PS3, that is. Anyway, love these HTP things. Highly effective form of review!
