The problem with this whole election is that not many are making an effort to fully understand anything and is instead just simply staying in their bubble with what information they say and going nowhere beyond that. Whether one likes the president-elect or not, people should at least be trying to comprehend things. Everyone is taking things at face value and it is a disappointment that things are like this. The man says vague things and gives no detail about it so people just fit their own reality into these words.
The fact that he hasn't taken office yet and is already making so many people on edge is not a good thing. Many will disagree saying that those Americans who are worried about him are babies or whatever inept insult they can thing of but the fact that half the nation is afraid of him, his ideals, what he stands for and the things he has said and done to this point is at least cause for awareness. For or against Trump, the fact is that everything he has done is not Presidential and if any other candidate had done it, everyone would be in an uproar. The only reason he is this far is because people stay in their own mindsets and learn nothing beyond their daily lives. Barely anything about the government, barely anything about their own state government, and especially nothing foreign.Β
What also annoys me are the supporters that instead of trying to understand why people are concerned, they just insult them to no end. It is like it is only a victory to them and that is all they see it as and that is a damn shame that this is how everyone seems to be now. This is the President of the United States. Over 330 million lives are in his hands and anything he says can either help or harm these lives, including his own supporters. I am not aiming to be on the "Dump Trump" train because I disliked Hillary as well but I am just disappointed that this whole election was an asinine popularity contest and not one about actual details and methods on their policies and many citizens seem okay with this and I sure as hell am not one of them. I want the government of America to change but this man is definitely not the one to bring that change.
People need to go beyond their comfort zone and actually learn what is going on.
