I was always TERRIFIED by these things. The movements their mouths made and the fac thtat they looked so completely alien was awful- I couldn't watch them whenever they came on.

My brother sent me this way...I was terrified of these and looking at the radio sketch justifies that terror even now. I think you captured perfectly what I thought of them as a child, hahaha. I mean, it looks fantastic, and the lighting is just awesome, but you scare me, hahahha.
I have an abject terror of movies with aliens in them and I honestly believe I can thank Sesame Street for that.

I loved em, but they scared the crap out of my little brothers. Not for their looks or the yipyipping.... but because they phased through the walls. THAT was terrifying to them.
And of course, being the loving, caring older brother I would _never_ wait til late at night and go 'yipyipyip' over a hidden walkie-talkie while they were trying to sleep....
