Her eyes widened in horror as she heard the unforgetable, piercing cry of the crow. She turned and stared up into the sky, watching it soar, high in the air. Suddenly, it changed it's course, and plummeted to the ground. She shrank back, her heart pounding in terror.

The crow landed with a terrible thud that quaked through the earth. Summoning up her courage, she stepped forward and felt the familiar surge of energy rush through her veins. She held up her hand to the air and watched as the light burst forth ...

A little idea I had, which I quite liked, and so I was hunting around for the perfect stock and ... YAY! Here it is. I hope I fixed it together OK. I had trouble with the shadows, but I think they're OK.
